It sucks. I met this kid the other night at the bar. He is friends with a friend of mine. He seems like a sweetheart. Well just last night we sat up for like 3-4 hours and talked online about random stuff. I wish we could hang out but unfortunately he is leaving at 6am to go back to Iraq. He will be gone for 6 months. He wants to hang out when he gets back and he wants to continue talking throughout his deployment. We will see how this all works out.
As for the friend that I've gone back and forth with? I think I've made up my mind to let him do his own thing. For real this time. It will suck to see him with anyone else but I feel like it's best for me. I'm just wanting to go out to the bars and meet new people and have fun. No need to be tied down right now. I'm too young for that. I don't know how to tell him about all this though. Cause about a week or so ago I told him I was dead serious about wanting to be with him. UGH!!!
I just need time to be with friends and enjoy being 21.
